After moving house Miria and Tom again asked me to design and make their new kitchen.
The material palette takes inspiration from their beautiful stainless steel and brass pans, with a matte sanded stainless top, seamless welded in sink and stainless fronts on the wet side. The opposite side of the island has cross laminated oak and solid walnut fronts with integrated drawer pulls.
The larder is concealed behind a perforated roller shutter borrowed from a more industrial context. All cabinetry in solid birch ply.

Blue and red kitchen in a former school, Peckham.
Blue valchromat doors, custom solid oak bar handles, annodised and powdercoated pressed aluminium sliding doors, illuminated shelving and wall cabinet. Re-use of existing base cabinets and worktop.
